Positive Impact

Gilbane provides direct support to hundreds of worthy charities from coast to coast, and contributes to a broad array of organizations that positively impact people’s lives. The groups we support are working to cure a variety of illnesses, aid young people, revitalize local communities and much more.

One of the tools we use to help others is the United Way: Gilbane supports the United Way and its member agencies with direct financial contributions. We also conduct an annual contribution campaign that encourages all our employees to give to United Way charities.

Gilbane’s support for the United Way is exemplified by our president, Thomas F. Gilbane Jr. Tom is a former national vice chairman and was a member of the board of directors of the United Way of America from 1993 to 2000. During that period, he also served as the national chairman of the United Way’s Alexis de Tocqueville Society.
