Gilbane began in 1873 as a family-run carpentry and general contracting business. Since then, the company has grown into one of the nation’s largest full service construction firms with annual revenues of more than $3 billion.

Our Delaware Valley Regional Office manages renovation and new construction projects ranging from $1 million to $200 million for the healthcare, higher education, commercial, life sciences, public sector, and industrial markets. Locally in 2007, we employed over 120 professionals involved in $834 million worth of construction. We’ve been building in Pennsylvania since 1958, in Delaware since 1970, and in New Jersey since 1966. Our dedication to the region is evident through a vast array of projects, as well as numerous commitments to the community.
