DIRECTIONS

The origins of Gilbane's Southwest presence began over two decades ago in Dallas and since then, Gilbane's Southwest Region has gone on to grow into one of Texas' Largest Contractors.

Between 1981 and the present, Gilbane has been consistently active in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex with projects including Frito-Lay Corporate Headquarters in 1981, IteCom, Inc. in 1982, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram in 1984, the Nowlin Center in 1985, and the Tarrant County Justice Center in 1987.

More recent clients include Tarrant County, Verizon Wireless, Children's Medical Center Dallas, University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, Texas A&M University-Texarkana, Dallas County Community College District, Bass Pro Shops and the City of Colleyville.

Our goal is not only to manage quality projects, but to attract and maintain repeat clients, which is evident by our returning client base across the country.

Locally, Gilbane has had a relationship with Tarrant County since 1987. Because of the successful delivery of their criminal justice facilities, we were chosen to manage their high profile Family Law Center project. The building was completed in July 2005 and has gone on to win numerous industry awards including the prestigious National Eagle Award for Excellence in Construction presented by the Associated Builders and Contractors. In addition Gilbane was recently selected as the Construction Manager at Risk for the new Downtown Jail Facility.

Gilbane established our permanent DFW office in Grapevine in 1999. Our services include Construction Management at Risk, General Contracting, Agency-Construction Management, Design-Build, Program/Project Management, Lump Sum Bid, Transition Planning and Management, i.management, Catastrophe-Response and much more. We have worked in multiple market segments, but our specialties include, healthcare, criminal justice, education, mission critical and general public.
