The project is being completed in multiple phases, and the completion of the Elevated Walkway System at Logan International Airport is a major milestone.
The completed project features an impressive network of elevated walkways suspended 40 feet above the roadways of Boston's Logan International Airport plus linking passenger terminals with parking garages in a new, climate-controlled passenger transportation system. The walkways connect all five terminals to a central parking garage and serve as compass points throughout the airport campus. Elements such as air conditioning, moving walkways, lighting, and beautiful vistas of downtown Boston combine to enhance travelers' experience of the terminal the terminal from the moment they step out of the parking garage. The walkways play a pivotal role in achieving a user-friendly atmosphere at Logan.
